Tara Franzinelli is an Australian Certified Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer,Trainer & Assesor and founder of The Jungle Body. She was born and raised in the hills of Perth, Western Australia and has a keen passion for business and fitness.
Tara is currently the 2011 WA Exercise Profesional of the Year.
In 2008 Tara was the winner of Business Icon an “Apprentice” style competition which tested her business, marketing, entrepreneurial and finance skills. The judging panel included corporate luminaries Richard Goyder, CEO of Wesfarmers, Sam Walsh, CEO of Rio Tinto and Ric Hart, MD of Ric Hart stores. Tara was also in the Top 5 for WA Young Person of the Year in the category of Leadership.
Before starting The Jungle Body , Tara worked for firms such as Curtin University, AdToll and PricewaterHouseCoopers. In 2009, Tara travelled to New York on an Academic Scholarship to study Economics and Management. After some successful networking in Los Angeles, Tara began Tara Franzinelli Consulting and landed her first clients World Champion Boxer, Wladimir Klitschko and Celebrity Gym Owner Matteo Baker. She was instantly immersed into the glamorous and dynamic world of health and fitness.
On her return to Perth in December 2009, Tara realised how "behind" and "stale" the Fitness Industry was in Australia. Determined to bring excitment, flexibility and versatility to the industy, she began The Jungle Body. Tara is determined to change the way group fitness is viewed in Australia.
Tara has passion for Fitness, health, music and dance. She enjoys learning and discussing World Trade, Politics, Generation Y and Womens liberation and fairness in business. She has travelled through Australia, Europe, Asia, North and South America and the Caribbean.
The Jungle Body is Tara's passion - a company that fuses all she believes is the future of fitness.
