Konga_whit

Konga is a full body high intensity, low complexity danced based workout that is a combination of aerobic fitness and dance styles set to your favourite music. From salsa to kickboxing, from hip hop to merengue, from 70s disco to Pilates.  Konga is designed to tone, burn fat, improve endurance and have fun. It’s a time to let loose and move to your all time favourite songs. Its not aerobics, its not dance, its the Konga. A one hour Konga class can burn over 700 calories due to the “switch-up” formula and the sustained, high intensity nature of the workout. The class can even have you burning calories for several hours after as your body expends energy to return to your pre-workout Jungle Body. Konga improves coordination, joint mobility and flexibility which can assist in injury prevention. The class will leave you motivated, excited and sweating!  Vypa is a hardcore, high intensity work out aimed at increasing your core strength and lowering your body fat. Vypa is inspired by Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts, Cage fighting, Plyometrics and professional football training. The class is set with loud spine tingling music where only the fittest survive. A one hour Vypa class is high intensity training and can burn 800-1000 calories making you aerobically and anaerobically fitter. The harder you work out, the greater the post-workout metabolism increase so you can burn even more calories to get lean. The class will have you completing variations that include sparring, kicking, power punching, defending and plyometrics. You will execute all your movements upon an imagined opponent to improve your speed, resistance, and strength. Flexibility and the reflexes of the muscles are also improved while the cardiovascular system is strengthened as you maintain 75-85% of your maximum heart rate for prolonged periods.

Jagua is a body sculpting class choreographed to hip hop/pop/golden oldies and rock music. It is about creating a lean, strong and toned body in a musical environment that improves your physical and emotional well being. Expect to stretch and tone your entire body to your favourite songs from Katy Perry to The Beatles. Jagua is a combination of

  • Stretching and Flexibility work (For example quad stretch, calf stretches and hip openers)
  • Ballet Style Exercises (Plie’s, Toe Stretches, Rises and Kick Backs)
  • Core toning/Strength Building (Abdominal Crunches, Press Ups, Plank and Bridges)
  • Dance based movements (Hip Circles/Thrusts, Shoulder snaps, arm movements)

Tyga is a hip hop based group fitness class that uses the greatest and best RnB music from around the world. Tyga will have you burning around 700 calories, while you bump and grind to music like Usher, Rhiana, Kanye and Pitbull. Tyga takes the best moves in Hip Hop Culture and combines it with fitness concepts so you get a full body workout while you dance. Tyga is for men and women of all ages and requires no dance experience because the forumla is so easy to follow. Tyga improves coodination, burns calories, tones and scults the body and improves the cardiovascular system.
